New public gist's id is always auto generated

Description

I think this might be a bug, but could also be intended bahaviour.

click "new gist"
enter anything for Gist id
select public gist
click create gist

this will always give me a gist with a auto generated number.

Doing the same sequence, but selecting private gist, will give a gist with the correct name.
