Description

We’re preparing a DR test for Rhodecode Application. Application and database are hosted on same VM. As the vlan between production and DR sites are not the same, we will perform a backup/restore.
We’d like to know if Rhodecode application supports IP change in case of backup restore. And what are the necessaries tasks to perform on application layer for such operation (maybe you have some documentation for DR).

Hi,

If we're talking about the change of IP of host serving RhodeCode servers that shouldn't be any problem. RhodeCode doesn't really on any binding to specific IPs only thing that needs to be considered is any IP restrictions set for an instance, if suddenly wrong SOURCE ip are sent to rhodecode instance it might block them by defined IP rules (maybe a global IP of proxy server which was set ?)
