The special middleware that catches custom exceptions should be verified working with http backend, and others. If i turn off vcsserver, and open page that requires VCSSERVER i should see a special page reporting VCSSERVER is down, and not a regular 500 error. I think we had this logic somehow, but it either got broken, or lost. others
